INSTANT 2290 was formed as a Texas Corporation in February 2003. INSTANT 2290 began with a single purpose: improving IRS 2290 filing. In August 2003 i2290.com offered the first Form 2290 automation to the trucking community. Today, INSTANT 2290 is still singularly focused on the Form 2290 - it is all we do. Since e-file started in 2007, i2290.com has processed over 1 million Heavy Highway Vehicles and delivered IRS-stamped Schedule 1s.
John retired from the IRS after 17 years helping taxpayers in IRS Service Centers. John noticed some consistent issues with the Form 2290. In 2002 John started a historic discussion with fellow church musician and friend Phil Boyer.
"How can we make Form 2290 filing better for truckers?"
Phil, a bank executive delivering advanced technologies and payment systems, knew the importance of transactional security and redefining business-as-usual technology. Inspired by John's idea of making Form 2290s better, Phil suggested founding INSTANT 2290 with a simple mission:
"Be a light in the world."
Jacquie grew up in the western suburbs of Chicago and studied at a small Christian university in Michigan obtaining a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration. She now lives in Houston with her family. She started working for INSTANT 2290 in 2008 and has been instrumental in shaping our Customer Service team. Jacquie has a unique compassion for people that is rare to find. She connects with the desire to be a light in the world with her customers and staff.
With 9 years of experience supporting i2290.com e-file customers, Yolanda is the most experienced expert you can find to help you successfully obtain your IRS-stamped Schedule 1. She is 100% committed to excellent service for all customers and takes great pride in following up with them to ensure they receive the solutions they need. When she's not assisting i2290.com customers, she's probably painting and enjoying a cold margarita.
Over the last four years, Daisy has helped to provide i2290.com's customers with much more reliable, more responsive, and overall top-notch customer support. Originally from Michigan, Daisy enjoys Cuban food and reading a good book.
A native Texan, Holly has four years of experience supporting i2290.com e-file customers. When Holly is not working diligently to respond to customer support requests she enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, or decorating.
Dee is the newest addition to our family of IRS Form 2290 specialists. Prior to starting this year with i2290.com, Dee would be hard to find if she was not working on her home...she could be outside enjoying a nice walk and watching out for alligators and frogs.
